Imagine life as a cabaret

A fabulous show – but not on stage

Where everyone is beautiful and free

Where everyone is gay

If life was one big party

Wouldn’t it be fun

There would be music – dancing – and singing

No such things as war and guns

War is a disaster

Innocent people lose their lives

Others lose their livelihood

But some politicians think that’s alright

These people obsessed with power and wealth

I tell you – They really disgust me

How someone so obsessed to achieve these things

Can do it at the cost of a fellow human being

I can’t understand how one human being

Doesn’t care about another ones safety and welfare

I wish the world had never dreamed of such things

As bombs – guns – and chemical warfare

Why is it – Some people can be so selfish

How can people go through life being so greedy

There’s people out there living million dollar lives

While who is worried about the needy

There aren’t enough people who worry about the less fortunate

Everybody should be concerned

After all, We weren’t given life to take that of another for granted

Love - Is what we were sent here to learn

Love would have to be lifes grandest pleasure

True sincerity and companionship

Love comes to us in many ways

It covers a whole range of things

From the love of friends and family

To the love of passions and dreams

From the love between mother and child

To the love of gardening and things

Where was it – That humanity went wrong

Why do people become selfish and greedy for power

Finding solutions for world famine – Cures for disease

Shouldn’t that now be our hour

There isn’t enough people out there

That worry about other people dying in the world

They would rather worry about their diamond rings

Their necklaces made of pearls

A human life is precious

Our soul is a wonderful, incredible gift we are given

What becomes of all the material things

When we reach the end of living

We can’t take our diamond rings – Our necklaces of pearls

With our soul when we leave this world

We can only take loving memories of people and things

We’ve loved through our time on earth

So you see – Material things aren’t important

They don’t go with us when we leave this world

Love is what’s important and it’s much more precious

Than the worlds riches, diamonds and pearls

So don’t go through life trying to conquer

Fighting battles and destroying other lives

Help your fellow man – Live in peace with one another

Because memories are all that our soul takes, when it’s time for us to die

So imagine life as a cabaret

Something beautiful – Filled with fun – Filled with love

Forget about the blood of other people on your hands

And things like power, war and guns.
