You might like to take a look at an on-line conference called "In Search Of Sustainability" Running from February to November 2003, the conference describes itself as an independent, grass roots, community based initiative that is seeking an objective look at our future. The keynote addresses, which set the scene for each month's conference topic, can be downloaded free from the site, while full conference participation is also open to everyone for $10 per month or $50 till October 2003, $35 for pensioners. Full participants have access to all material on the conference website and may submit papers to the scientific committee for possible publication on the site as well as publish comments and questions on the papers that are under discussion that month.
