Australians let us rejoice
For we are rich and smug,
We've air-conditioned four wheel drives,
Without one you're a mug,
Our lives abound in nature's gifts,
Of whitegoods great and rare,
Our footprint's not the biggest yet,
We're very nearly there,

Why should Australia care?

When refugees from danger sail
To trace wide oceans o'er,
We'll let them sink or turn them back,
From landing on our shore,
For we need all our land and wealth,
There's not enough to share,
We're anglo, and we're xenophobe,
We're fine beyond compare,

The US and its power elite
Dictates that we'll attack,
We'll gladly send our soldiers off
To wage war on Iraq,
We'll glorify our killing role,
And demonise Chirac,
And join aggressors' shameful force,
With Bush and Tony Blair,
In boastful voices let us sing,
Why should Australia care?

We own the land, yes every bit,
The blacks were never first,
A few regrettables occurred,
But we were not the worst.
We always know what's best for them,
Apologise? No fear.
We keep them poor and throw them crumbs,
