STOP THE WAR ON IRAQ

Why not war?

No evidence. There is no evidence of an imminent threat by Saddam Hussein.

No law. A pre-emptive strike against any country is completely against international law

No consistency. Hussein was supported and armed by the US for many years, as are other undemocratic governments all over the word. The US holds the largest stock of weapons of mass destruction on earth.

No justice. Many other states including Israel, Pakistan and Turkey are in breach of UN resolutions and still atttract US support. The US should reinforce, not undermine, the United Nations.

No peace. The US has no plan for how an attack on Iraq will lead to long-term peace and stability in the Middle East and the world.
