REQUEST TO OUR DESK VOLUNTEERS

Greeting cards are becoming more costly to buy, with less profit to ourselves. Next year, to help raise funds, we will be trying to make a selection of our own cards for the shop. This will be a simple process of printing a master on A4 paper, running off photocopies, then gluing a picture on the front.

The pictures need to be provided by you, so please, for this, could you save your Christmas cards from this year. We need only the front picture, so if the card holds a personal message, cut that half off, then bring them to the Environment Centre. If the envelope is saveable, you should bring that in too, and we’ll find some labels to stick over your address. Some of you might like to help with the gluing, and if the results look good we can try the same with birthday cards, so please save any of those and bring them in too.
